Built around the Lakeshore West commute
If you catch the Lakeshore West GO train from Appleby, Burlington or Aldershot, or drive the QEW into Oakville, Mississauga or Toronto, your weekdays don't leave much room for errands. A phone repair at a shop usually means giving up a lunch hour, a Saturday, or both.
Woman Wireless On The Go works differently. There's no storefront to get to. A certified woman technician comes to your Burlington home or condo in the evening, after you're back from the commute, and repairs your phone on the spot.
How the Evening window works
Online requests can book one of three windows: Morning (8am to 12pm), Afternoon (12 to 5pm) or Evening (5 to 9pm). The Evening window is the one most commuters choose.
- Send a request from the train. WhatsApp a photo of the damage and your phone model to (365) 351-4247, or fill in the online request form on your way in.
- Get your free quote. You'll know the price before any work starts.
- Choose the Evening window. Your technician confirms an exact time by phone or WhatsApp, so you can plan dinner, pickups and practices around it.
- Meet her at your door. The repair happens at your kitchen table, in your condo lobby or in your parked car in the driveway.
- Test it together. You check the screen, cameras, sound and charging with her before she leaves.
Phone broke late at night? Online requests don't cover late-night slots, but you can call or WhatsApp any time. The line is answered 24 hours, 7 days.
Neighbourhood by neighbourhood
Appleby and east Burlington
If you're walking or driving to Appleby GO from Longmoor, Shoreacres or the streets around Appleby Line, the Evening window means your repair happens at home after you're back. No second trip out once you've parked for the night.
Downtown and central Burlington
Condo buildings near Brant Street and the waterfront often have limited visitor parking. Include your building name, buzzer details and the best place for your technician to park when you book, and a lobby or party room visit is easy to arrange.
Aldershot
Commuters using Aldershot GO, close to the Hamilton border, are well within our service area. Mention if you're near the station or further up toward Plains Road so your technician can plan her route.
North Burlington
Alton Village, Millcroft, Headon Forest, Orchard and Brant Hills sit on the side of Burlington closest to our Milton base. They're a natural fit for an evening visit after a long day.
If your phone breaks on the morning commute
A phone that cracks on the platform at 7am still has to get you through the workday. A few things help:
- Tape a shattered screen with clear tape or a spare screen protector so glass doesn't cut your fingers.
- Carry a backup fare. If you tap your phone to pay for the GO, keep your PRESTO card or a physical bank card with you in case your phone stops working.
- Use your laptop at work. If you've linked WhatsApp, Messages or your email to a computer, you can keep up with messages while your phone is damaged.
- Back up during the day if the phone still works, so your photos and chats are safe before the repair.
- Send your quote request early so you can line up an Evening window that suits you.
Prefer a daytime visit at work?
If you work in Burlington, around the business parks off Harvester Road or the North Service Road, a Morning or Afternoon visit at your workplace or in your parked car can work too. Just let us know where to meet and whether there's a reception desk to check in with.
Our at-home phone repair guide explains what to prepare for any visit, from backups to passcodes.
