One visit, the whole household's devices
In a busy Brampton home, broken devices tend to pile up. A teenager's cracked phone, a parent's battery that won't last a shift, a tablet the youngest dropped, a console controller that drifts. Each one gets put off because no one has time to drive to a shop, wait, and come back.
Woman Wireless On The Go is a mobile service, so a certified woman technician comes to your home and can work through several devices in one visit. You make one request, get a free quote for each item, and pick a time that suits the family. See our Brampton service area page for coverage details.
Step 1: Make a household list
Walk through the house and gather everything that needs attention. It's easy to forget the tablet in a drawer or the console in the basement. For each device, note:
- Who it belongs to, so you know who needs to be home or share a passcode.
- Make and model: for example, iPhone 13, Galaxy A54, iPad 9th generation or PS5.
- What's wrong: cracked screen, battery drains, won't charge, no sound, no picture.
- A photo of the damage, where it's visible.
Not sure of a model? On iPhone and iPad, look under Settings › General › About. On Android, check Settings › About phone. For consoles, the model is usually printed on the label underneath or on the back.
What can go on one request
A family visit can cover a mix of devices. Common requests include:
- Phones: screens, batteries, charging ports, back glass and cameras on iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, Motorola, OnePlus and others.
- Tablets and iPads: cracked screens, charging problems and batteries.
- Game consoles: overheating, HDMI and power problems.
- Laptops: slow performance, keyboards, batteries and charging.
Our cell phone repair page lists the phone repairs covered. If something on the list can't be done at home, the technician will tell you when she quotes.
Step 2: Schedule around school and shifts
Online requests book into three windows: Morning (8am to 12pm), Afternoon (12 to 5pm) or Evening (5 to 9pm). The technician confirms the exact time with you by phone or WhatsApp. For family visits, think about who needs to be there:
- School-day mornings work well for parents' phones and household tablets while kids are out.
- After school or evening suits teens who need to unlock their own phones and test them.
- If someone works nights or rotating shifts, choose a window when they're awake, or have them unlock and back up their phone beforehand.
- If there's only one time everyone is home, say so in your request so the visit can be planned around it.
Step 3: Get every device ready
- Back up each phone and tablet to iCloud, Google or a computer.
- Collect passcodes, or make sure each owner is home to unlock their device for testing.
- Charge what still works, and gather chargers and cables for anything that doesn't.
- Remove cases, and take the controller or console out of the cabinet.
- Clear a table near an outlet, with good light, away from little ones and pets.

Neighbourhood notes for Brampton visits
From Heart Lake in the north-west to Springdale and Castlemore on the east side, Brampton has a lot of newer subdivisions with similar-looking streets, townhouse complexes and basement units. A few details help the technician find you first time:
- Your full address, including any basement or unit letter, and which door to use.
- The visitor parking area for townhouse complexes, or whether the driveway is free.
- A cross street if your street is new or has a similar name to a nearby one.
- Whether there's a dog in the house.
