Coverage and scheduling
These are the questions Burlington residents ask most before booking. If yours isn't here, call or WhatsApp and ask.
Which parts of Burlington do you cover?
All of urban Burlington. That includes the newer north end, such as Alton Village, Millcroft, Headon Forest and Tansley, the central neighbourhoods like Brant Hills, Mountainside and Palmer, and the south end from Aldershot and Tyandaga through downtown, Roseland, Shoreacres and Appleby. If you live in rural north Burlington, around Kilbride or Lowville, send your address and we'll confirm before booking. Our Burlington service page has the full picture.
Can you come in the evening?
Yes. Online requests can be booked into a morning (8am to 12pm), afternoon (12 to 5pm) or evening (5 to 9pm) window. Evenings tend to suit people who work days in Hamilton, Oakville or Toronto. For anything later, call or WhatsApp rather than booking online.
Can the repair happen at my workplace?
Yes. If you work in one of the business parks along the QEW or the 403, a visit at work saves you an evening errand. Check that your workplace is fine with a visitor, then let us know where to meet. If it's easier, the technician can work from your parked car in the lot.
Do I have to be home?
Someone needs to be with the phone, because the repair is done on the spot and tested with you. That can be at your house, your office, a condo lobby or your parked car, wherever is easiest.
Before the visit
What should I have ready?
- Your exact model. On an iPhone, go to Settings › General › About › Model Name. On Android, look in Settings › About phone.
- A clear photo of the damage, so the quote covers everything.
- Your passcode, or a way to unlock the phone, so you can test it together afterwards. You can enter it yourself.
- A recent backup, if the phone still works. Our post on backing up an iPhone before screen repair walks through it.
- A table with decent light, if the visit is at home or work.
What can you repair?
Phones first: iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, Motorola, OnePlus and other brands. Common jobs are cracked screens, worn batteries, charging ports, back glass, cameras and water damage, plus unlocking. We also work on iPads and tablets, laptops and computers, and game consoles. If you have a few devices, mention them all when you ask for a quote.
Quotes and the repair itself
How does the free quote work?
Call or WhatsApp (365) 351-4247 with your model and a photo, or send a request online. You'll get a free quote before any work starts. Nothing happens until you're happy with it. Once you agree, the exact time is confirmed by phone or WhatsApp.
How long will the repair take?
It depends on the phone and the job. The technician confirms timing when she gives your quote, so you can plan around it.
Will my phone leave my sight?
No. The repair happens where you are, and the phone is tested with you before the technician leaves. That's one of the main reasons people choose a mobile technician over dropping a phone off. Our at-home phone repair guide explains the whole process step by step.
Is this just for iPhones?
No. iPhone repairs are common, and our iPhone repair page covers the most frequent ones, but Samsung, Pixel and other Android phones are just as welcome.
Who will come to my home?
A certified woman technician. Woman Wireless On The Go is women-owned and LGBTQ+ friendly, so you know who to expect at the door. If you'd rather not have a visitor at home, a workplace, condo lobby or parked car works too.
What do other customers say?
You can read what people have written on our reviews page.
